Mission Statement: The purpose of the Chautauqua County Camera Club is to explore the connection between the eye, the camera, and the spirit by fostering the growth of artistic vision and technical knowledge. To provide an informal, friendly, and supportive environment for photographers of all levels of experience and with interests in all types of photographic imagery to share their passion for Photography.

 

 

The purpose of the Club shall be to promote the interests of photographers by bringing together those who are interested in helping each other create better photographs. This would include educating, encouraging, and expanding the photographic knowledge and capabilities of its members by:

 

a) Facilitating mutual education and learning in the science and art of photography

b) Promoting and encouraging advancement in the knowledge and practice of photography

c) Furnishing a meeting place where its members may associate

d) Making available necessary equipment or supplies to conduct its programs with approval of the Board of Directors

e) Presenting lectures and demonstrations of techniques

f) Providing for Club member participation in assignments, critiques, contests and field trips

g) Sponsoring activities which further the purpose of the Club

h) Endeavoring to raise the standard of photographic excellence in the county of Chautauqua
